is a multidisciplinary artist based in New Orleans, LA. Her focuses are on feeling-based sensories, which convey as theme through much of her work. Touch and weight carry symbolism. Being an artist of wearable mediums such as fashion design and body adornment, these symbols come into play often. Jazzmyne's goal is to bring awareness to ones own body and attention to sacred spaces within it.Jazzmyne Cry is a student of life, first and foremost, knowing that nature holds the keys. Bringing that energy into her work, Jazzmyne finds herself enveloped in fashion and textile design, jewelry design, hair styling, painting, creative consulting and direction, and photography.
Her recent explorations have brought her into the realm of scultpural installations and interior design. Studying natural dye techniques and processes.
She has gained invaluable skills during her studies at The Material Institute in New Orleans, LA and continues to shape as an artist with every project; employed, self-started and collaborative.
